Clinton's Popular Vote Lead Over Trump Grows to 2.6 Million
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton amassed a record 1.5 million popular vote lead on election night. That lead has since grown exponentially with final ballots still being counted. At the moment, Clinton's popular vote lead rests at 2,611,572. If the past if prolog, this 2.6 million vote lead may exceed 3 million by January's inauguration.
Officials enjoy using the phrase, "mandate" to describe their motivation for pushing a radical agenda following elections. President-elect Trump will not have this luxury, considering a substantially larger portion of the electorate voted for his opponent than voted for him.
