Trump Administration Ignores Pedophilia To Win Tax Vote
Trump administration officials have gone from bad to worse. In a vile partisan display, Kellyanne Conway, senior advisor to Donald Trump, expressed the White House's support for Republican pedophile Roy Moore.
Conway's shameful remarks were shared during the morning television program, Fox & Friends. When asked by one of the Fox hosts, "So, vote Roy Moore?" Conway replied, "I'm telling you that we want the votes." Without hesitation, despicable words came flooding out of Conway's mouth. She didn't pause to consider the implications or pretend she needed to consult an administration handbook on how to answer the question. Conway indicated that a tax vote win was more important than protecting children from sexual predators.
Conway instantly realized the severity of her error. She attempted (inartfully) to dance around her endorsement of the Alabama pedophile by deflecting to allegations of misconduct by Minnesota Senator Al Franken, but it was too late, Conway couldn't 'unring the bell.' Her infamous, "We want the votes" line was played on every news program the rest of the day. Despite the Republican Party already abandoning Moore, before Monday morning, the White House's position was a mystery. In addition to the national Republican Party, the Young Republican Federation of Alabama, and more than four dozen evangelical pastors have called for Roy Moore to step down.
From Republican leaders in the U.S. Senate like John McCain and Mitch McConnell to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, nearly every prominent Republican has demanded that Roy Moore step down. Almost every Republican that is, except one – Donald Trump. As Conway informed, for the Trump administration, earning a victory on tax reform supersedes past tribulations even when those tribulations involve pedophilia.
