Ep. 5 - Activism in Sports and Entertainment

Following the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, and attempted murder of Jacob Blake, professional athletes along with artists and other entertainers have used their platforms to help spread awareness of the injustice and systemic racism plaguing society. We discuss the impact of individuals utilizing these large platforms to bring about necessary change.

Last week, the Republican Party held its national convention. The event was partially virtual. But many of the events and speeches were held on the White House lawn in front of thousands of unmasked spectators.

Less than three months away from the general election, now more than ever is critical to ensure the integrity of our elections. Our expectation is that government officials with the power to do so, will thwart the efforts of and inform Congress of any attempts by foreign citizens to intervene in the November election.
